The rent roll for a coffeeshop operator.

A coffeeshop is a landlord with a row of stall tenants and one person collecting the rent. KopitiamOS is that month's work as a system: invoices to the tenant group, the bank matched by the 7th, late payers chased, every cost on record for the accountant. It reads bank feeds. It never moves money.

§ 01

What it does

Five tasks, which together are the job of the person who runs the rent roll.

Invoices to the tenant group, each month
One invoice per stall, posted to the tenant group chat on the same day every month, each carrying its own payment reference.
The bank matched by the 7th
KopitiamOS reads the inward credits on the bank feed and matches each one to its invoice by the reference. By the 7th, every stall is paid or it is not.
Late payers chased
Anyone who has not paid is reminded in the same group, and the reminder repeats until the credit lands.
Every cost on record
Every invoice in and every cost out is logged and filed as it happens, not reconstructed at the end of the quarter.
A clean handover to the accountant
The accountant receives the month's record with nothing left to ask the operator for.

One month of a rent roll. KopitiamOS posts the invoices to the tenant group, each with its own payment reference. The tenants pay the bank directly. KopitiamOS reads the bank feed, matches each credit to its invoice by the 7th, reminds anyone who has not paid in the same group, and keeps every cost and invoice on record for the accountant. The only arrow from the bank points in, and it is read only. Nothing here moves money.

Every task above has a route that needs no screen scraping and no authority to pay.

A reference on each invoice
Every invoice carries a PayNow reference, so a credit on the feed names the stall and the month it settles.
A feed for inward credits
Inward credits come from a bank feed or a bank API, read as they land. KopitiamOS holds nothing that could instruct a payment.
A read only role for a person
Where someone needs to look at the account, they hold a read only role at the bank. The money moves between the tenant and the bank, and nowhere else.
